The Winged Foundation tackles educational disparities in Latin America. We focus on low-income communities where children and youth face poverty and lack the resources to attend school. Our vision is to reduce dropout rates by:
• Supporting Poverty Reduction: We recognize the link between poverty and education. By addressing basic needs, we help children stay in school.
• Providing Essential Support: We provide clothing, food, personal hygiene items, and other necessities to Latin American children and youth from low-income families.
Bridging the Digital Divide:
We believe technology is a powerful tool for education. Through scholarships, we promote social inclusion by providing underprivileged students with access to educational resources and technology, empowering them to gain the skills they need to compete for better jobs and break the cycle of poverty.
• Encouraging Technology Donations: We encourage the donation of computers, tablets, and smartphones with necessary software. These devices bridge the digital divide for our scholarship recipients in Latin America.
• Internet Access Initiatives: We explore innovative solutions, like donation campaigns, to bring internet access to remote Latin American areas. This allows greater participation in online learning opportunities.
